Nehanda Mauron-Mutambirwa holds a multidisciplinary Master of Law degree in Law, Crime and Security of New Technologies awarded by the University of Lausanne in 2010. The same year, she began her career at the World Intellectual Property Organization as a trainee lawyer.
In 2011, she earned the certificate of advanced studies in legal professions of the University of Geneva. She started her legal training at the Urban Planning Department of Geneva in 2011 before pursuing it at SHS & Associates law firm from 2012 to 2013.
After being admitted to the Bar in 2013, Nehanda Mauron-Mutambirwa gained further experience at the law firm Pétremand & Rappo, in Lausanne, before joining BAZ Legal, in Geneva, in 2016.
In 2019, Nehanda Mauron-Mutambirwa, together with Corinne Duflon-Ducarroz and Anna Sergueeva, founded the law firm DMS Avocats, where she worked until 2021.
She founded her own law firm in 2021.
In addition to her experience in family law and construction law, Nehanda Mauron-Mutambirwa specialises in contract law, particularly in the field of lease, labour, commercial and agency contracts. She advises her clients at all stages of the contractual relationship, from the negotiation to the conclusion of the contract, or after its termination. In the latter case, she assists her clients in finding an amicable solution or defends their interests in the event of judicial or extrajudicial litigation.
Nehanda Mauron-Mutambirwa is also interested in new technologies and assists her clients in the legal management of their digital presence.
She is also an Associate Judge at the Criminal Appeal and Review Chamber of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, elected by the Grand Council on November 3rd, 2016.
